Q&A
Q: How do I know if Klaro is the right solution for my site?
A: Our specialists will study the site and your project to
establish the best solution, costs and timescale.
Q: Do I need to obtain a waste management licence?
A: No, GroundCoverDBM will notify the EA and carry out the
work under our own licence.
Q: Will the work disrupt my programme of site work?
A: We will fit our process around your programme.
Q: Will it disturb my site?
A: We excavate all the knotweed infested soils, but can operate
the Klaro process close to each knotweed stand, to minimise
disturbance. The processed material is replaced in the excavation
or used elsewhere on site, to suit your development.
Q: Why is the Klaro process "environmentally friendly"?
A: Here are a few points;
- By providing an Japanese Knotweed Eradication, Klaro supports
the re-use of brownfield land in place
of green field sites.
- Klaro deals with Japanese Knotweed on site, rather than
transporting it to somewhere else.
- Klaro avoids sending thousands of tonnes of material to
landfill, so fewer lorries, less noise and pollution.
- Material processed using Klaro is re-used on site, avoiding
the need to import replacement fill from quarries. So fewer
lorries, less noise and pollution.
